Welcome to the Polymer Recycling and Modification Team at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil. This group is dedicated to the study of polymeric materials with an emphasis on (1) polymer modification, especially with surface treatment and bulk modification, and (2) polymer recycling for the valorization of the recycled material, especially packaging, textile, and fast discharge materials. Materials with difficult recyclability are welcome. It is our mission to contribute technically and scientifically to the country’s science and to interact outside the university walls with public and private sector companies, encompassing the entire petrochemical sector chain, as well as recyclable material cooperatives and educational institutions.
